Description
The 3rd Burmese Empire was the largest empire in Southeast Asia in the early modern period as well as being a major military power in the region, conquering Kingdoms of Thailand and Laos, Kingdoms in Bengal region as well as winning wars against Qing dynasty and French East India Company. It also embarked on campaigns against the British Empire, gaining territories in British India at the beginning of the Ist Anglo-Burmese War which contributed to the Indian Rebellion within British India as Indians hoped the Burmese Invasion of British India would liberate them from the British.
