In the early 20th century, Emperor Hirohito's reign was marked by Japan's aggressive expansion into Asia. Frustrated by militarist factions, the Emperor took decisive action, leading to a civil war between rebel militarist factions and loyalist forces of Hirohito. The loyalist forces ended up victorious, which ended up with the establishment of the Second Japanese Empire under complete rule of the Imperial Family.
