Backstory: After the massacre of the Kurta Clan at the hands of the Phantom Troupe, Kurapika set out to avenge his brothers and sisters, in doing so, he found a hidden clan of his people, estranged from the world even more so than his clan, he brought them into the light of civilization, and they now serve as protectors of the world using their famed Kurta eyes.
