{Info} The Galactic Senate is the governing body over the entire Republic and is composed of 24,372 systems. During the Clone Wars, emergency powers were given to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who extended his term for the remainder of the conflict to help the Republic resolve the seemingly never ending war.

The Senators are tasked with the difficult job of managing the Republic as well as the Clone Army of the Republic at the same time to ensure that the Republic prevails in the conflict.
