Those that remained were left in stasis for a hundred years, waiting to rebuild once the threat left the planet. However, the time dilation technology that was used to keep the protectors of the future in stasis malfunctioned, and their memories were erased. The technologically advanced world around them now seemed foreign, and their society had to begin again from the start. Now, using tools of the future, those that remain from a bygone era seek out the story of what they left behind.
