Please join us! The London Underground was opened in 1863 between Farringdon and Paddington and had been an easier way to transport passengers through London. As well as an efficient transport system, it protected people during World War 2. It's now modern day and London Underground is going through the biggest upgrade plan in history. It is spending 10 billion pounds that will modernize the underground. It's oldest trains are gone making way for new trains. This will be completed in 2018.
