in 1991, the populous and many dedicated high ranking officials, with persuasion, separated a large chunk of high ranking army officials and soldiers in the red army from the communist spell and advocated for the SD party which seeks social democracy for the people. 

With the army and government on the side of the new state, communism dissolved and a man named Fédor Novikov would come in it's place, creating the new USSR, or United Socialist States of Russia. Novikov quickly seeked to rehaul and greatly improve the economy, infrastructure and the standards of living, Novikov using Russia's immense resources and population to innovate & manufacture goods, turning Russia's exports from raw materials to finished goods, with the expansion of old and the building of new oil production areas and opening up the arctic lane, which all has benefited the GDP and SOL. 

Present day Russia a powerhouse in the 21st century with a GDP of 16.3 Trillion, Population of 348 million, and a HDI of 0.913.
