To become an officer with the RCPD, you need to first send an application to the Chief of Police to become a Cadet in the Department. Once you become a Cadet, you can then go through the P.O.S.T. Academy (Peace Officer Standards and Training), which is about 2-3 hours of your time, for 3 days. From there, you'd formally graduate to become an RCPD Officer.
