𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦 People's Army of Vietnam composes of the standing (or regular) forces and the reserve forces. The standing forces include the main forces and the local forces. During peacetime, the standing forces are minimised in number, and kept combat-ready by regular physical and weapons training, and stock maintenance.
