The 18th Legion, hailing from the world of Nocturne, and constantly subjected to the high-heat and radioactive atmosphere are noted for their striking appearance, featuring pure-black skin and blood red eyes.

Despite their appearance, the XVIIIth remains one of the most steadfast loyal legions to the Emperor and his cause, proving themselves in the troubling times of the Horus Heresy.

Now, the Legion marches on- spurred by their Primarchs return call to Nocturne.
The future remains in question.
