After a war with the Imperial Prussian Confederacy, the Principality of Kroneland lost it's independence. The Kingdom of Italy, an ally of the Prussians, then took control and occupied the lands of Kroneland with a heavy hand.
When the Italian Civil War began, the Prussians stepped in to occupy Kroneland once more. This prompted the people of Kroneland to revolt, fighting to regain their freedom and honor.
Now, as the Kingdom of Greater Kroneland, they've united the Nordic lands under one banner.
