𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙡𝙚𝙩-𝙞 𝘼𝙡𝙞𝙮𝙮𝙚-𝙞 𝙊𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙮𝙮𝙚 Osmanlı Devleti Ottoman Empire 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: The Ottoman Empire entered the War of the Second Coalition when Napoleon and his forces invaded parts of Egypt and Syria in 1798. The Ottomans fought along side the British in order to win a strategic campaign against Napoleon in the Mediterranean. In 1806, under French encouragement, the Ottomans would declare war on Rusia. This war would be a loss for the Ottomans, but softened up the Russians for Napoleon's invasion in 1812.
