The Royal Corps of Artillery is the branch of the British Army responsible for the operation of cannons, artillery, and explosives on and off campaign. All artillerymen are equipped with a ramrod and a grenade at British military installations. The Artillery is intended to keep foreign ships and soldiery away from our territory.
