Oceania is a fictional superstate derived from the dystopian lore of George Orwell's book "1984." 

Following an alternate timeline of the Cold War, which would result in world-wide nuclear devastation, the world is left chaotic and disorganized. Britain saw the rise of a new, unorthodox ideology known as English Socialism. It would go on to annex the United States and Canada, centralizing its new government in Britain, now known as Airstrip One.
