The Kayi tribe was a Turkish Tribe located in Anatolia. They were of Oghuz Turk descent. They are one of 24 Oghuz tribes, and the last leader of the Kayi tribe was the founder of the ottoman empire, he was known as Sultan Osman the first. The year is 1246, and it is near the beginning of the Seventh Crusade.
