♡ Yami Kawaii fashion is seen as a way for its wearers to express their own struggles with mental health issues. メンヘラチャン, also known as 櫻井桃華, is the heroine of Yami Kawaii. The character was created by Ezaki Bisuko to help the spread of Yami Kawaii. She is a character whose theme is “mental health." Yami Kawaii is like a form of vent art. 

♡ Yami Kawaii fashion can be expressed through accessories like fake guns, hypodermic needles, gas masks, capsules, bandages and plasters. Yami-Kawaii is also known as Menhera-fashion, and it focuses a lot on cuteness that has been tainted by sickness. The outfits usually consist of oversized tops featuring Menhera art or hospital wear.
