Mint Centipede [Rthro]

There's nothing particularly "minty" about this fierce insect, but it certainly is bright and colorful.. a warning in nature.

The Phillipine Mint-legged Centipede is a relatively new species, but supposedly not so different from any other centipede in general. When you hear of a centipede "bite," that is actually a "sting." Those large jaw-like appendages at the side of the centipede's head are called forcipules, venomous pincers that deliver a sting that so many mistake for a bite. But what's the difference when they all hurt the same?
