Oni Sugegasa

Sugegasa, (菅笠) are a variant of Kasa (笠), which are a type of traditional Japanese hat. They are typically conical in shape, and are made of Sedge, a grasslike plant.
This particular example has the kanji for oni (鬼), a kind of Yōkai, demon, orc, ogre, or troll in Japanese folklore, painted onto it.
Perfect for samurai and oni alike!
