The Chaperone is a dedicated hat developed from a way of wearing the traditional hood upside down with the hood rolled around the head. The style developed during the 14th. to the turn of the 15th. century and is structured around the central crown with a hanging cape around the side. It is adorned with a hanging tail which can be worn in various styles adjusted to its wearer.
