The College of the Rending Way is one of many schools of magic situated on the Axe Coast, where initiates learn the art of combat magic. It's somewhat overshadowed by the campus next door, the Axe Coast Naval Science Institute, where tomorrow's fleet admirals and ship captains are made. The students of these places are bad enough on their own, but together they are a force to be reckoned with, as the city of Talos is reminded every spring, when these youthful scoundrels are unleashed for a week.
