Description

Anachak Rattanakosin, also known as Siam and afterward Thailand, was a kingdom that existed from 1781 until it became known as current Thailand. Established by King Rama I of the Chakri Dynastry after the death of King Taksin the Great. With the capital moved from Thonburi to Bangkok. The Kingdom engaged in conflicts with a number of nations, including present day Burma and Vietnam. Later, It fought off the influence of western powers, but the kingdom still stands gracefully since it has never been and will never be colonized.
