Banco Internacional del Perú was founded on May 1, 1897, and its first premises were located in Jirón de la Unión in the historic center of Lima. In 1934 the offices were opened in the cities of chiclayo and arequipa. A year later, they were joined by the branches in Piura and Sullana. Subsequently, it continues with the opening of new offices in various cities of the country.
