Description
The Dark Days end, and to ensure that this rebellion will never happen again, the Treaty of Treason was signed. Each year, the various districts of Panem shall offer up two tributes, one young man and woman to fight to the death in a pageant of honour, courage and sacrifice. The lone victor, bathed in riches, will serve as a reminder of our generosity and our forgiveness. This annual event shall be known as ''The Hunger Games''.
