Napoleon Emperor of the French have dominated Europe. In 1807 Napoleon have formed the 'Continental System' blockade to British trade in Europe. Russia have formed an alliance with France and agreed to join the Continental System. In 1812 Russia though they're not getting a fair deal.

In 1812 Russia left the Continental System and started trading with the British again.

Napoleon mobilizes all of his men in all corners of his Empire, 650.000 soldiers. Napoleon invaded Russia and suffered the most terrible retreat from Russian Winter and only 28.000 men returned from Russia.
