"Servus Sōlis Invīctī sum, Restitūtor Orbis sum." In the late 2nd Century, the imperial Roman helmet took on a more Italic design, leading to the "Niedermormter"'s (Italic Type H's) creation. This helmet pursued into the 3rd Century, and although being overshadowed by the "Niederbieber" and its variants, was still an iconic look for the legions of the 3rd Century.
